On behalf of a large international financial organisation, Communicatie & Co is URGENTLY looking for an internal communications specialist.
Job description
The internal communications specialist supports the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Netherlands, Eastern & Northern Europe and Middle East & Africa. The focus of this role is towards the business services staff located in the Netherlands. The internal communications specialist creates and manages an internal communications plan (and the execution of specific campaigns) across the various business services teams in the Netherlands. Provides internal communications advice on planning, content and channel to business leadership. He or she manages and maintains internal communications channels (intranet, newsletters) and ensures that all internal communications activities are aligned to the overall communications strategy. Facilitates connections between the business services and links communities in the matrix organization. The internal communications specialist reports to the Business Manager of the COO and has a functional reporting line towards the head of Communications and Marketing for the Netherlands.
Required
Candidates should have an education to degree level. At least 5 years experience with internal communications and a minimum of 3 years with internal communications in an international organisation. The specialist we are looking for has strong written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Dutch. He or she is used to manage internal communications channels. Has experience in developing effective communication strategies and knowledge and understanding of new communications media. Experience in supporting leadership and change management communications. Understanding the internal client base (of over 1.000 employees), with its broad range of activities and skill bases, is key to successful delivery of the role, as is highly dependable operational delivery. The ideal candidate has worked within matrix organisations and has a background within the Dutch financial services industry. He or she possesses excellent skills in MS Office products as well as strong relationship building skills.
