On behalf of an international organization that provides education, research and projects on the subject of water management, Communicatie & Co is looking for a strategic communication expert.
Job description
He or she provides media and account management for everything that concerns: branding, design, guidelines, templates and the website (with a selected agency). Develops communications strategy and planning for both the Dutch organization and for one of the projects: developing sustainable rural water delivery in the in the developing world. The communication expert manages publications, including staff and external editors (substantive and line editing). Is responsible for the management and development of the projects’ communication team (including Ghana, Uganda) and leads the development of the communications functional team in the Hague.
Required
Candidates should have a masters degree in communication or extension sciences and a minimal of five years relevant work experience at a senior level and a proven capability to think and work on communications at strategic level. He or she must be a native English speaker and has (online) writing skills for blogs and website, and experience in working in the field of development cooperation. The ideal candidate is hands-on and should have international track record, preferably some experience in the developing world.
Offered
Offered is a temporary fulltime position for 36 hours per week. Starting for a period of one to six months. During this period a longer term candidate will be recruited, and a continuation might be possible.
